Our Consultants
Dr. Munira Borhany is our Executive Director. She is working as a Consultant Heamatologist and Assistant Professor at NIBD [National Institute of Blood Diseases & Transplantation, Karachi]. She is also serving as a Consultant Clinical Heamotologist in Dr. Ziauddin University, Karachi, Pakistan. She is 1st Pakistani who was awarded ISTH [International Society of Thrombosis & Hemostatis] Fellowship at Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Hemophilia and Thrombosis Centre, University of Milan, Milan, Italy. She holds MCPS in Clinical Pathology and FCPS degree in Hematolgy. Her academic papers are acknowledged worldwide and published regularly in national as well as international Medical Journals.
Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohammad Jafri is our Consultant. He joined the University of Karachi in 1983 as founding Director of the Pakistan Study Centre. At present he holds the Chair of Islamic/Pakistan Studies Department, Karachi University. He read for two Ph.D. degrees, one from the University of Lucknow, and the other from the University of London. During his long teaching career, starting from 1962, he has served at the University of Malaya, Kaula Lampur; the American University of Beirut and the Australian National University, Canberra.
